BotShed is an FAQ article and is included in the List of FAQs.
BotShed is what we call a bot distribution channel. If you want a bot for your channel (for say channel protection, or to keep it "alive"), we can give you one.

[edit] Bots
There are 2 "Master" bots. These may not be assigned to a channel. Those are:
BotMaster is a bot owned by Cobi.
BotMaster is BotShed Master 1.
BotMaster is in: #BotShed.
BotMaster's administrators are: Cobi.
Any problems, please contact Cobi.
BotMaster is included in the List of Bots.
Eclipse is a bot owned by santium.
Eclipse is BotShed Master 2.
Eclipse is in: #BotShed.
Eclipse's administrators are: santium.
Any problems, please contact santium.
Eclipse is included in the List of Bots.
Either of these two are capable of creating a bot for your channel. However, Eclipse is currently the only one capable of assigning vhosts.
[edit] Getting A Bot
To get a bot for your channel, simply join #BotShed (/join #BotShed) and request one. All you need to tell us is what you want your bot to be named, what channel you want it in, and the command character. The command character is why your bot will respond to for commands.
[edit] How To Use
The bot will reply in channel to commands. To get a list of commands, ask it for help. For example, if your command character was !, you'd type !help OR BotNameHere help
Doing so will cause the bot to make a DCC chat session with you.

You will be given level 90 access. By this, you will have almost entire control. You will not be able to use the die command. If you wish to get rid of the bot, either santium or Cobi must remove it.
